Service along the CTA Yellow Line was suspended after a derailment Tuesday night.

The derailment occurred about 7:40 p.m., according to the CTA. Further details were immediately available.

The CTA recommended that affected riders use the No. 97 bus as an alternative while crews work to restore service.
