A 62-year-old northwest suburban woman hit by a pickup truck last Monday in west suburban Countryside died six days later.

Teresa Barone, of Bloomingdale, was hit by a pickup truck at 6542 S. Joliet Rd. in Countryside on Feb. 20, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Barone was pronounced dead at Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network in Itasca at 11:52 p.m. on Feb. 26, according to the medical examiner.

An autopsy Sunday found she died of multiple injuries after being hit by a pickup truck. Her death was ruled an accident.

Countryside police could not immediately provide further details.
