Six people, including two children, were injured Monday in a two-vehicle crash in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

At 3:29 p.m. the vehicles crashed near West Ogden Avenue and South Fairfield Avenue, according to Chicago Fire Department Cmdr. Frank Velez.

An EMS Plan 1 response was initiated, which means five ambulances were requested, Velez said.

The EMS response was canceled at 3:44 p.m., Velez said.
