A man was found dead Wednesday morning at Loyola Beach in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side

The body of the adult man, whose exact age was not known, was discovered about 5:35 a.m. on the beach in the 1200 block of West Touhy, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:41 a.m., the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. Additional details were not immediately available.

Area North detectives are conducting a non-criminal death investigation.
