A man was shot late Saturday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 27-year-old was walking in an alley in the 500 block of South Cicero about 11:50 p.m. when two people got out of a vehicle nearby and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to both legs and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
