A woman was found shot Saturday evening in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Officers found the 26-year-old with a gunshot wound to the head about 7:40 p.m. on the second floor landing of an apartment building in the 1600 block of West 89th Street, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
