A SWAT team was called Friday for initial reports of a person threatening to shoot inside an apartment in Rogers Park on the North Side.

Officers were called about 3:04 a.m. in the 6700 block of North Ashland Avenue for reports of a male inside an apartment threatening to fire shots, Chicago police said.

A SWAT team entered the apartment about 5:20 a.m. but didn’t find anyone inside, police said.
