A 34-year-old woman from the University Village neighborhood died Wednesday after crashing her car on the Near West Side.

About 9:25 p.m., the woman was driving her Hyundai sedan northeast in the 1200 block of West Ogden Avenue when she blew through a red light at Roosevelt Road and struck a Hyundai hatchback and Cadillac sedan, Chicago police said.

The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m., the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

A man in the Cadillac was also taken to Stroger Hospital, and his condition stabilized, police said. No one else was hurt.

CPD’s Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
