A woman’s body was pulled from Lake Michigan Saturday in the Gold Coast.

The body was recovered from the water about 8:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Lake Shore Drive near Schiller Street, Chicago police said.

An autopsy Sunday said the 49-year-old drowned, and her death was ruled a suicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

No further information was immediately available.
