A 29-year-old man died days after he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle through Logan Square on the Northwest Side last week.

Enemias Mendez-Villatoro was westbound on a motorcycle about 9:22 p.m. June 22 in the 3200 block of West Fullerton Avenue when a 22-year-old woman driving a Honda Accord hit him as she turned northbound onto Kedzie Boulevard, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he died Monday night, authorities said.

An autopsy conducted Tuesday found he died from his injuries and ruled his death an accident.

The woman was issued three traffic citations for not having a drivers license, not having car insurance and failing to yield to oncoming traffic, authorities said.
