A Chicago police officer was injured in a vehicle accident at Navy Pier Tuesday.

The on-duty officer was patrolling about 7:26 p.m. in the 600 block of East Grand Avenue when the vehicle overturned, Chicago police said.

The officer was taken to an area hospital in good condition with minor head and leg injuries, police said.
