Two people were seriously injured Sunday in a vehicle crash in Norwood Park on the Northwest Side.

The crash happened about 1:35 p.m. at the intersection of Devon Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago fire officials said.

Someone in a vehicle turned onto Milwaukee from Devon and didn’t see a second vehicle that was traveling on Devon, Chicago police said. The second vehicle swerved but collided with the turning vehicle and rolled over.

The driver of the vehicle that rolled over was citied for failure to yield right of way, police said.

Both people were taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in serious-to-critical condition, officials said.

No further information was immediately available.
