A 17-year-old girl missing from Horner Park on the North Side has been found safe.

Petra Kowalski was last seen about 1 a.m. Aug. 18 in the 2400 block of West Belle Plaine Avenue, Chicago police said.

Police said Aug. 19 that Kowalski was located safely.
