A car crashed through the front of an empty clothing store Tuesday in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.

A 25-year-old man was driving his 2015 BMW northwest in the 3000 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when he swerved to avoid another vehicle turning left in front of him, Chicago police said.

The BMW struck a storefront about 4:10 a.m., causing minor damage, police said. He refused medical treatment.

A police source said the crash happened at Royal Discount Center, 3004 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Reached by phone, the owner of the store said he did not have a damage estimate. He said the window has been boarded up and the store will remain open.

Police said no citations have been issued.
