Man killed in East Garfield Park crash

A 27-year-old man was killed in a car crash Sunday in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

The crash happened about 10 p.m. near Jackson Boulevard and Central Park Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Antoine M. Payton died early Monday morning of injuries from the crash, and his death was ruled an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

Chicago police did not immediately respond to a request for details about the incident.
