An 88-year-old man died after crashing a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Park Manor on the South Side.

George Greene crashed about 2:05 p.m. in the 300 block of East 69th Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was pronounced dead minutes later.

Autopsy results released Thursday found that he died of multiple injuries from an automobile striking a fixed object. His death was ruled accidental.

Chicago police could not immediately provide details about the crash.
