A woman was killed in a crash Tuesday in Burnside on the South Side.

A car was westbound about 6:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of East 95th Street when the driver lost control and struck a light pole, Chicago police said.

Miracle Sanchez, 22, and another person were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where Sanchez was pronounced dead, police and the Cook Cook county medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy confirmed Sanchez died from injuries sustained in the crash, and ruled her death an accident, authorities said.
