Four people were displaced from their homes Thursday after a fire ravaged an East Garfield Park building.
The fire was reported about 7:15 p.m. at a three-story building near 5th and Albany avenues, Chicago fire officials said.
Firefighters arrived to find flames tearing through the second floor, fire officials said. The blaze was extinguished about 40 minutes later.

No one was injured in the fire, but four adults were displaced, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
