A man was killed in a shooting Mar. 17, 2023 on the West Side. — A body was found May 1, 2021, in the lagoon of Douglas Park.

Chicago police are conducting a death investigation after a body was found Saturday in the lagoon at Douglas Park.

About 5:15 p.m., a body was seen in the 1400 block of South Sacramento Drive, in the lagoon in the park, Chicago police said.

Chicago police’s marine unit is investigating.
