A 23-year-old man was shot Tuesday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The man was standing in the 100 block of South Springfield at 7:21 p.m., when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the lower left leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
