A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg early Saturday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

It happened about 2:15 a.m. in the 800 block of North Central Avenue, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition stabilized, police said.
