A 25-year-old man was critically wounded Monday afternoon in an Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting on the West Side.

At 3:45 p.m. the man was walking in the 1700 block of North Cicero when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was struck in the left eye, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
