A 27-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting early Sunday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 4:15 a.m., he was standing on the sidewalk in the 500 block of North Sawyer when someone shot him from a passing blue vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in both legs and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
