A 29-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in west suburban Naperville.

The 2003 white Honda CBR motorcycle was heading north on Wehrli Road towards Lisson Road at 1:51 p.m. when the driver lost control and crashed, according to a statement from Naperville police.

The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old Naperville man, was taken to Edward Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Wehrli Road was closed for about two hours for the investigation.

The crash remains under investigation as of Tuesday afternoon. Anyone with information should call Naperville police at (630) 420-8833.
