A 36-year-old man who was reported missing one month ago from the Southwest Side West Lawn neighborhood has been found safe.

Edgar Leon had been missing since Sept. 17 from the 4300 block of West 63rd Street, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Tuesday afternoon that Leon had been found safe.

The man suffered head trauma and was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
