An autopsy was inconclusive for a body discovered in a garage in the South Side Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood Tuesday morning.

The 49-year-old man was found in a garage in the 7100 block of South Champlain about 9:30 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy was inconclusive, according to the medical examiner’s office. His name has not yet been released because his family has not yet been notified.

Area South detectives are conducting a death investigation.
