A bomb threat Thursday night at the Chicago Police headquarters on the South Side has been deemed not credible.

Officers responded about 9:40 p.m. to a call of a man with a bomb underneath a puffy coat outside the headquarters at 3510 S. Michigan Ave., according to police.

After a search of the area, the threat didn’t appear to be bonafide.
