A 14-year-old boy was shot Sunday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

About 2:15 p.m., the boy was walking in the 4300 block of West 16th Street when someone walked up to him and shot him in the leg, police News Affairs Beri Lemmon said.

The teen was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, Lemmon said.
