A 16-year-old boy was shot and wounded during what the police described as a domestic argument Saturday afternoon on the South Side.

The boy was arguing with a 33-year-old man around noon in the 400 block of West 79th Place when the man pulled a gun and shot him in the torso three times, according to the police.

The boy was being treated at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
