Multiple delivery drivers have been robbed at gunpoint in the West Side Austin neighborhood this month, police said.

In three separate incidents, one or more suspects have called in delivery orders and then robbed the drivers at gunpoint when they arrived, according to a business alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies occurred:

  • In the 100 block of North Pine about 5:15 p.m. July 1;
  • In the 200 block of North Mayfield about 12:30 a.m. July 4; and
  • In the 600 block of North Lockwood about 2:15 a.m. July 10.

The suspect in the Pine robbery was described as a 5-foot-10 black man, between 25 and 30 years old, weighing 160 to 180 pounds, police said. The suspect in the Mayfield robbery was described as a 5-foot-11 black male.

Three suspects were described in relation to the Lockwood robbery. The first was a 5-foot-6, 180-pound black male, police said. The other two were black females standing about 5-foot-5 and weighing 120 to 130 pounds.
