A man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon in the South Side Englewood neighborhood, police said.

Donavin Kyle Harris, 20, was standing outside a home at 4:20 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Harvard Avenue when someone approached him and fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Harris was shot in several parts of his body, including his chest, hand and foot, authorities said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died at 5 p.m.

An autopsy found Harris, who lived in the same neighborhood, died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.
