Shot in Austin, she’s able to drive to Far South Side hospital

A person who was shot Wednesday morning in Austin drove herself to a Far South Side hospital.

The 34-year-old woman was shot in the right side in the 700 block of North Laramie Avenue around 7:45 a.m., according to police, who said she was in good condition at Roseland Community Hospital.
