The Kendall County sheriff’s office now has a new evidence processing room at the Public Safety Center.
The evidence processing room has several pieces of equipment that will aid evidence technicians with collecting and identifying physical evidence, the Kendall County sheriff’s office said.
The room will allow for development and processing of latent fingerprints and preservation of biological evidence, police said. The room will also be available for local law enforcement agencies to use for investigation in efforts to expand local capacity for evidence processing throughout the county.
