Man, 20, shot in Lawndale

A man was wounded by gunfire Sunday evening in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

At 5:05 p.m., the 20-year-old was shot in the leg somewhere in the 1000 block of South Sacramento, according to Chicago police. He was struck as he was getting out of his car but did not see the shooter.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition. No one was in custody.
