A 23-year-old man was shot Sunday evening in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

About 6:55 p.m., he was walking in the 5900 block of West Adams when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. He had been shot in the leg.

The man took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was in good condition, police said.
