Man, 24, shot in Gresham

A man was shot in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side Saturday afternoon.

About 4:30 p.m., he arrived at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park with gunshot wounds to the back and abdomen, Chicago Police said. He told investigators he was shot in the area of 81st and Peoria streets.

He was transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
