Man, 24, shot in Lawndale

A 24-year-old man was shot Saturday afternoon in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The man was walking about 4:50 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Roosevelt when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. He had been shot in his legs.

The man took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in fair condition.
