A man was wounded Wednesday night in an Austin neighborhood drive-by shooting on the West Side.

The 25-year-old man was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 5200 block of West Harrison Street at 11:10 p.m. when another vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The man showed up at Loretto Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
