Man, 26, shot in Austin

A man was shot Friday evening in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 26-year-old was sitting on a porch about 7:20 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Madison when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the right buttock and a graze wound to the right thigh, police said.
