A man was injured during a shooting incident Sunday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 27-year-old was walking on the sidewalk about 10:40 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Washtenaw when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered an injury to his leg, but was not shot, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
