A man was shot late Sunday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 30-year-old was standing in an alley about 11:40 p.m. in the first block of North Lockwood when he heard gunfire and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right leg and later showed up at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
