A man was shot Friday evening in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 31-year-old was struck in the lower right thigh about 8:45 p.m. in the 4300 block of West Gladys Avenue, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.
