A man suffered a graze wound on Thursday night in a shooting in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

At 9:11 p.m., the 36-year-old was standing in an alley in the 8700 block of South Emerald Avenue when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a graze wound to his head, police said. His condition had stabilized.
