A 50-year-old man was critically wounded Saturday night in an Austin neighborhood shooting on the West Side.

He was walking at 6:21 p.m. in the 5500 block of West Corcoran when someone in a gray sedan fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was struck in his chest and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
