Man, 64, shot on South Side

A 64-year old man was wounded in a shooting Saturday evening on the South Side.

The man was walking at 5:58 p.m. in an alley in the 800 block of East 76th Street when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in his leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
