A man accidentally shot himself early Tuesday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 46-year-old shot himself in the hand at 1:37 a.m. while sitting in his vehicle in the 200 block of East 121st Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in good condition to Roseland Community Hospital, police said.
