A man who police say barricaded himself and his two children inside their Northwest Side home Tuesday morning is facing charges Tuesday afternoon.
Ross M. Bulski, 32, is charged with aggravated assault/use of a deadly weapon and domestic battery, both misdemeanors, according to Chicago Police.
Officers responded to a call of a person with a gun in the 3000 block of North Harlem at 6:20 a.m., police said. Bulski had forced his 33-year-old wife out of their home at gunpoint, and barricaded himself in the apartment with his two children, police said.
Police negotiated with Bulski, and he was taken into custody about 10 a.m. “without incident,” police said.
No one was hurt, and a weapon was recovered at the scene, police said.
No. 90 Harlem buses were rerouted in both directions and streets in the area were blocked during the incident.
