A man was critically wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The 22-year-old was shot in the abdomen at 1:24 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Stewart, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. He was being uncooperative with investigators, police said.
