A 20-year-old was was taken in critical condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center after being shot in the chest and right arm Sunday night on the Northwest Side, the police said.

They said the man was walking in the 3600 block of North Sawyer Avenue around 9 p.m. when someone in a passing Jeep shot at him.
