A 27-year-old man was shot before his vehicle crashed early Monday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was driving about 12:45 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw when he was shot in the back of the head, according to Chicago Police. His vehicle then crashed into two parked vehicles.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
